At an altitude of 1,100m, at the crossroads of Ano and Kato Vrondou, just 5km outside Ano Vroundou, we created a Centre for Alternative Tourism, hosted in a private area upward of 60 acres, which includes:
Our facilities host specially designed sections, such as an area for free horseback riding, an adventure track for climbing and rappel, flying fox, Tibetan bridge, as well as special areas for shooting, archery, paintball, mountain bike, and trekking; all in an idyllic environment.
In parallel, the Centre for Alternative Tourism offers all necessary equipment for these activities: trekking, camping and stopover equipment, horses, 4x4 vehicles, quads, as well as electronic equipment, communication systems, outdoors camping equipment etc.
The Centre for Alternative Tourism - Lodge Ano Vrodou organizes trips for visitors and their friends, accompanying you to any of the mountains of Serres. Our staff can lead you to easy and beautiful trails, organizes treasure hunts with maps and compasses, games with ropes and rappel (descent by rope) and also offers children and adults the opportunity to test their strength, climbing on easy holds, in complete safety.
The Centre offers specialized forms of agro-tourism and a wide variety of entertainment, eco-tourism and environmental activities:
